Tree Week 2025 in Pulaski County!
October 10-19
Through a series of nature and tree-themed events, Tree Week strives to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding for the important roles nature and trees have in improving our quality of life.
Tree Week Events 2025
Kids! Bring your adults with you after school to Science Hill Park. We will be painting t-shirts using leaves and lots of colors of paint. We will supply t-shirts but feel free to bring your own if you'd like. Open to all ages.
Pulaski Co 4H Agents will also be there with owl pellets for you to dissect and learn about what owls eat.
3:30pm to 5pm at Science Hill Park.

T-shirt painting is 3:30 to 4:30pm under the shelter.
Mulch madness begins at 4:30pm. We'll mulch several of the trees at the park. Bring your own tools.
Let's beautify the new Pulaski Co Extension office! Help us plant a few new trees and mulch them correctly afterwards. While planting, we'll discuss the correct way to plant a tree and the after-care needed. You'll be helping with a small experiment using biochar as well.
Tree planting & mulching begins at 9am. BYO Tools. Dress appropriately.

You can adopt-a-tree anywhere! It could be in your own yard, at your school, or at your favorite place in nature.
