Event Description
Join Lake Cumberland Beekeepers and Horticulture Agent Beth Wilson for a shallow dive into honey bees and introductory beekeeping.
We'll fit as much information as possible into 2 hours. Topics will include some bee biology, hardware options, protective clothing and equipment, and hive management (which will include bee diseases and pests).
Boxes, equipment, clothing, and other beekeeping gear will be on hand for participants to look at and feel.
