Important information for the 2021 Project Year! Please read all information!

  • Orientation (offered once via Zoom ONLY on January 6th) @ 6:00pm)

    • For both new & returning project members (EXTREMELY encouraged that all youth and one parent attend and/or watch the recording.
    • In an effort to accomodate and still follow meeting guidelines, we will be hosting one (1) orientation on Tuesday, January 5th via ZOOM ONLY @ 6:00pm.  This meeting will be recorded as a video and the link will be published for you to watch at your own time if you are unable to attend the live meeting.  If you have questions after watching the video, you may call/text/email Jennifer Cole.  A FAQ will be put together as questions come in and posted here on this webpage.

Age Divisions: Junior Division (Born 2007-2011, age 9-13) | Senior Division (Born 2002-2006, age 14-18)

  • 4-H Country Ham Project Club Meeting Dates:

    • Feb. 11, March 11, April 15, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12
    • This will be how 4-H youth get their education hours, mark these dates on your calendars!
    • Will be offered via Zoom and/or in-person depending on restrictions
    • We hope to schedule "field trips" if restrictions are lifted
    • More in-depth information will be given during the Jan. 5 Orientation. (A recording of the orientation will be uploaded for later viewing)
    • We will be electing officer positions, come prepared if you would like to take on a leadership role!
  • Kentucky State Fair & Speech Requirement

    • 4-H Youth will be required to give a speech at the KSF on August 19, 2021
    • Please hold this date and be prepared to spend the day at the KSF
    • In the event Cloverville is cancelled like 2020, 4-H youth will give an essay in place of their speech
  • Show & Sale Eligibility

    • In order to be elegible to sell your ham at Show & Sale in September, 4-H youth will need to complete additional requirements. (see documents below)
